Our 55th Reunion happened September 22-24. There was rain and high winds.
Folks met at The Goose in downtown Darien. No beach. Some report that they drove around town and looked at their old neighborhoods. Others stopped in area cemeteries to visit the graves of family members. Others relaxed at the hotel.

Reunion Agenda
Friday Night - We will hold a Happy Hour at the Marriott. After happy hour, some classmates would like to continue with dinner at the Crabshell Restaurant, 46 Southfield Avenue at Harbor Landing in Stamford or another special place.
Fritz Seyferth, Tom Borden and Ed Thomas are making small group dinner reservations. They plan to meet at the hotel bar and move to dinner between 7-8 pm.
Saturday Afternoon - There will be a gathering at Pear Tree Point from 12-4. Classmates can bring their own snack/lunch or can order from Riko pizza at 203-674-8973. We can also order sandwiches on the way to the beach at Mama Carmela's 1981 Post Rd in Noroton. Telephone is 203 655 9004. Call ahead to check on afternoon hours.
Beach rules and permit do not allow any glass, alcohol or loud music.
Saturday Dinner Program. We have reserved The New England Ballroom for dinner at the Stamford Marriott, 243 Tresser BLVD, Stamford. Cocktails at 6 and dinner to follow. The cost for the evening is $130.00 per person. Hard cut off for dinner tickets is September 15.
Attire: Dressy Casual
There will be a cash bar.
Please notify the Committee if you have food allergies in advance of the dinner.
Jed and Sue will be the Masters of Ceremonies at our Saturday night gala.
We are planning to divide a class donation between the Darien Foundation and the ALS Therapy Development Institute in honor of our classmate, Patty Clark. Class members who are not able to attend our event but would like to donate may do so.
SundaySunday Brunch will be on your own at the hotel.
